Hi Team,
We have received a concern from a customer that the DLPDLCR2010EVM becomes out of focus after operating for about 10 minutes. According to the customer,
The focus wheel on my projector is too loose and automatically drifts even though it's held flat on a surface and not being bumped. I would like to request help on tightening the focus wheel or get a replacement that is not defective.
Please see the following pictures of the projector setup. I have 2 mirrors reflecting the projection onto a screen (the mirrors are first surface mirrors and shouldn't alter the image focus), the projector is held in by 2 screws onto the setup and the relative position between the projector/mirrors/screen should not drift on its own.
The "focused" image is the projector in focus with a splash image displayed; the "out of focus 10 min later" image is the same set up after about 10 minutes without being disturbed. The last 2 pictures are the top down and side views of the projector, taken out of the setup. Please note that someone else in my research lab also has a DLPDLCR2010EVM and I've tested their projector focus wheel, which seems much more stable than mine. I think my projector wheel either needs to be tightened or replaced. I really appreciate your help!
