Dear sir/madam,

On the DLP4710LC GUI (version 2.2.0.6), the "Light Control" tab offers the possibility to program, save, and load internal pattern.

I have been trying to use the "Load Pattern from File" option to inspect a pattern file.

However, after selecting the file I get an error: "Failed to program pattern data." (see screenshot)

I was not expecting an attempt to program the pattern data when just loading a file.

This brings me to my question: Is there any way to Load pattern data from file for inspection without an attached program action?

Hello Hugo,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to only load the pattern file without programming using the GUI. May I know the reason, why you want to only load the pattern file.

FYI - You can save the patterns to a file without connecting an EVM.

Hi Mayank,

In an application multiple internal patterns are used.

Most likely we will have multiple internal patterns we would like to use and for a given bin we would like to verify which patterns are in.

The check would be an offline check for which we do not need to write to the internal and therefore we would like to inspect the patterns without the need to program them.

Basically, we would like to use the GUI as a viewer for the bin file content.
