  • Hello Shuo,

Can you attach a screenshot of where the "No connection" message comes up? What version of the software are you using?

Please look at page 12 section 2.2.1 of the user guide, there is an included visual. Is the "No connection" message at the top of the toolbar where it says "Mode" like the user guide visual? Make sure your computer, cheetah, and EVM are securely connected to one another. Go to the Connections tab and verify that the "DLPC230 Host" line has SPI and the Cheetah selected and that the green connect light is on. If the green light does not come on or the Cheetah can't  be selected then there may be some Cheetah driver issues. I would recommend uninstalling them and installing them again.

If that is not your issue then there may be an error between the Cheetah and the EVM. Can you verify that the EVM is powered correctly? If so, make sure the cable that connects the Cheetah to the EVM has no tension on it and that it is firmly connected to to the EVM. A loose connection or any tension may cause the cable to disconnect. Select the "Read Mode" icon and see if the error goes away.

    Regards,

    John
