I encounter the exact same error and no solutions were given

Welcome to the TI E2E forums and thank you for your interest in DLP technology.

It seems like something is preventing the EVM from powering on correctly, consider these troubleshooting steps:

1. Ensure that the power supply is able to handle the power requirements of the EVM. This EVM has an input voltage monitor which drives PROJ-ON low if the input voltage drops below approximately 4.65 V for any reason during operation, and so we recommend a DC power supply of 5V 4A.
2.  D_HOST_IRQ remaining high indicates that the controller was unable to complete initialization. If you have a raspberry pi, it is recommended to download the firmware from the EVM tool page and reflash the EVM.

WHAT IS THE SIZE FOR THE DC POWER JACK?

This is the exact part used on EVM https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/cui-devices/PJ-102BH/408449

"Power Barrel Connector Jack 2.50mm ID (0.098"), 5.50mm OD (0.217") Through Hole, Right Angle"

Yeap, does not work with 5V 4A source. wasted my whole month waiting for that particular part.............................................................................................................................................................................................
