Dear Expert ,

Good day!

Our customer have a DLP4710EVM-LC , I had check the user guide , its focus range is 40inch (min) = 101.6cm , the customer want a smaller work range , like 10cm , so base on the EVM which the customer have , does it have any solution to let the customer fulfill his requirement ? is that possible to replace a new optical module to reach the target ?

Hello Leon,

I would recommend the customer to go through the DLP® Products Optical Module Search Tool (https://www.ti.com/tool/DLP-OMM-SEARCH) to get the contact information of optical module manufacturer for this EVM. They might be able address this customer request.

Hello, minimum focus distance is around 25cm, with diagonal around 21cm.

Hello,

Thank you for this confirmation. Since TI does not manufacture or sell standalone Optical modules, you will need to use the resource that Mayank linked above and contact a 3rd party vendor to find optical modules with different focal length/optical characteristics.
