DLPLCR4500EVM: Failed to display images or screens that caused by misalignment between flex cable and chipset

You may notice the issue here (in the yellow circle) is the flex cable (marked in red) cannot be inserted into the chipset (marked in green). This misalignment causes the displaying issue that I described in the return request form.

Failed in displaying 1. booting screen; 2. uploaded bmp images; 3. any screen that connected by HDMI cable

Has this projector functioned properly before ?
Was this a problem noticed before powering on or was it encountered after some incident ?

No, it never functioned properly since i first received the package. And this defect is not caused by any incident.

Hi,

I will assume that you have already requested a return by the wording of your post, and that the support team requested you get confirmation from an apps engineer.

It is my opinion that the cable was inserted incorrectly and likely damaged pins on the flex cable. you should be eligible for a return
