DLP7000: Discovery 3000 PROM

Can you provide any info about configuration PROM versions on the Discovery 3000 system? (DDC3000)  We have boards here with PROM serial number labels saying either "D3K 0004" or older boards with "DDC 3000 0002".  However, I am unable to locate any descriptive info or revision list.  Observed problem seems to be related to 0004 parts but not 0002 parts.  What are the differences?
We are seeing some blasted DMD's with salt-and-pepper pattern of stuck mirrors concentrated towards array edges.  Particularly on the SXGA+ 1410 DMD.  Other systems have 0.7 XGA 1076 DMD.
Any help appreciated..

    Hi Robert,

    Nice to meet you.

    This is an older Discovery platform, and we will need time to review the differences in revision for the -0002. Will have to check with Fizix on this one.

    The -0004 is the released production version.

    Were the use conditions within or outside of the datasheet recommended operating conditions?

    Hi Robert,

    I also received this inquiry through your Design Partner, but it seems it had gotten lost in the shuffle.  This post sounded familiar, so I searched for and found the original email.  I am sorry for that.

    I have sent a reply to them detailing what I know about the differences and with some questions about the use conditions.
