DMD Chip

Hi, I need to replace a damaged DMD chip code X1076-73UV, but my distributor can't find this one. They could provide me the S1076-7318 chip but they said my Formatter board doesn't control this chip. Where can I find this chip or what's the new chip code that replaces this old one? Thanks a lot!

You should be able to contact one of our Design House Partners to enquire about this. They should be able to identify which eval kit or chipset this DMD is part of. You can find a list of our Design House Partners at:

Mt Sansung HLT6187SX-XAA DLP TV screen is covered with white spots. From different forums, they claim that the DMD board needs replacement. How can I get this replacement DMD board or DLP chip to get rid of these white spots.

Hello Carl,

You will need to contact Samsung directly to obtain a replacement DMD/DMD board from them.

The X1076-73UV part is a 0.7 XGA LVDS UV DMD. Please contact DLP Design Houses listed here to purchase this chipset.

Thank you for helping readers find a source for DMDs. I contacted John Turner. He services equipment that use DLP DMDs, but is not a reseller of DMDs.

Please contact a TI DLP Authorized Distributor, DLP Design House or your projector OEM to procure DLP DMDs.

Same experience to me also. I tried S1076-7318 as according to datasheet it should work. only difference is it is not an UV DMD. But it is not working with my formatter board. It is very difficult to get X1076-73UV. So can anybody help me & advice similar type of DMD which I may use in place of X1076-73UV?

We have the DMD that you need for Basys Gen IV formatter III and IV.
