Hi,

My customer needs 3D CAD data of the DLP4710LCFQL, they want CAD data that can be used to display dimensional drawings such as the following.
Is such data provided?　If so, which CAD format should we use?

CAD/CAE can be found in the CAD/CAE section of the product page here: https://www.ti.com/product/DLP4710LC#cad-cae-symbols . Any CAD program which can accept the file format can be used.

You can download the step file from the link that Chris shared above and open it with any step file viewer.

Note : It shows only the DMD and its physical dimensions.

Do you mean that the CAD files used to generate the data listed in the datasheet, as mentioned above, are not provided?

Hello UNA-san,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are updating the website to include the step file for DMD. It will take around 2 week for the update to reflect.

Meanwhile you can use the Step file available under DLP4710 DMD as proxy.

Step file for DLP4710 DMD(www.ti.com/.../DLP4710) is not available, but DLP4710LC DMD is available.

The step file of the DLP4710LC does not show the unevenness of the actual mirror assembly, so we do not know the details of those parts.
This Step file is just a rectangle and does not depict the part where the mirror is implemented.
Customers need 3D CAD data that contains this information.

Sorry, I missed the link you mentioned. I was able to get it.

Is there any difference between the STEP file you proposed for DLP4710 and the DLP4710LC you are preparing now?
If there is no difference, I will guide the customer to the STEP file available on the DLP4710 website.

The step file should be similar and you can use DLP4710 step file for DLP4710LC.
