Hello.

Supports DLPDLCR3010EVM 1 bit, 1 pixel images (templates)?
Is there a possibility of external synchronization?

I need to output a monochrome (black or white) static image of each pixel.

The DLP3010EVM-LC is perfectly suited for this application. Please see the user's guide on this EVM: https://www.ti.com/tool/DLP3010EVM-LC.

If you are looking for something with smaller resolution, we also have DLP2010EVM-LC (854x480).

Hi ChristopherSmith.

Once again, I want to clarify that DLPDLCR3010EVM with DLPC3438 control module allows you to display black and white (monochrome) image (picture) without video processing. In 1 or more pixels in static mode, for laser irradiation.

Hello Vladimir,

The requested feature is not supported by DLPDLCR3010EVM. This EVM is intended for video display application. The 1 bit image is supported by our Advanced Light Control product portfolio.

Hello Vivek!

Tell me, are the demo boards the same DLP3010EVM-LC and DLPDLCR3010EVM?
Will it be enough to re-solder the control chip instead of DLPC3438 and replace it with DLPC3478?

I have the opportunity to purchase a cheap used DLPDLCR3010EVM. I want to change the control chip on it to DLPC3478.
What else needs to be replaced for DLPDLCR3010EVM to become DLP3010EVM-LC?

Hello Vladimir,

Thank you for your patience.

Based on the picture , it seems to DLP3010 Gen1 EVM. Technically speaking you can recreate DLP 3010 LC EVM by replacing the DLPC3435 controller in the EVM by DLPC3478.

Unfortunately, tapping to all those control signals like trigger in, out and pattern read will be messy. It may not be worth the efforts.

I need this because I want to buy a DLPDLCR3010EVM-G2 board and replace only the chip on it by installing a new DLPC3478.
