Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPC900, DLP670S, , DLP500YX, DLP9000
We are using the DLPLCRC900DEVM (DLPC900 + DLP670S).
Overall the system seems to work fine. However when I display a long sequence of patterns, the patterns beyond a certain point in the sequence appear with severe visual distortions.
For example when using 1-bit patterns, the first 240 patterns will be displayed correctly but the patterns beyond that point are distorted by broad horizontal stripes.
Similarly, when using 8-bit patterns, the first 30 patterns are displayed correctly but patterns beyond that point are distorted.
Is this a known problem? Am I doing something wrong?
This problem appears in pattern-on-the-fly mode as well as with patterns pre-stored in flash.
The distortion extends over both halves of the mirror (master and slave).
The problem is perfectly reproducible.
The attached photos show what the distortion looks like.
The first photo show a correct pattern (matrix of black squares).
The second photos show a distorted pattern (broad stripes crossing the matrix of squares).
We are using DLP LightCrafter DLPC900 GUI version 5.0.0 with DLP670S firmware version 6.0.0.
