DLP5530PGUQ1EVM: The optical module is abnormal.

Part Number: DLP5530PGUQ1EVM

HELLO

We're having some problems:

1.Operating current is 0.165a on 12v power supply, but no image is displayed.

2,When I switch the source, the optical module flashes, no light comes out,

3. When selecting the DLP Logo as the display source, DMD does have the image although it is not projected.

I hope to get your help on how to solve these problems!

  • Hello -

After the module flashes, can you please read the "Error History" and share the results?

    Thanks,

    Ross

  • Hello Ross -

So why doesn't the optical module display the image?

    Thanks,

    yang

  • Hello Xia Yang -

I am worried that your module may be damaged. You may need to submit a "EVM Return" form so you can return the EVM to TI and we can send a replacement. Are you okay with this approach. I will reach out via email to send you instructions.

    Regards,

    Ross
