We have just acquired a DLPDLCR471TPEVM and have some questions about using it:

Does it require a special HDMI cable to get it to work at 4k when attached to a Windows 10 PC? We've tried several HDMI cables and several PCs but it only ever appears as a 1920x1080 display?
Are there any example Python scripts available for it? The example ones in the advanced DLP EVM GUI Tool are for the dlpc347x controller and this EVM uses the dlpc654x controller.
The WriteTpgPredefinedPattern command in the Python ScriptAPI html documentation for the dlpc654x refers to pre-defined patterns stored in flash being created using the DLP Composer tool. From previous threads on this forum the DLP Composer tool has been deprecated so what is the new process for creating and storing pre-defined patterns? Context: we want to create a set of 1D horizontal and vertical patterns to store in the flash and then fill the display buffer with these.
Which GPIO pins can be used on the EVM to act as an external camera trigger input?

Welcome to the TI E2E forums and thank you for your interest in DLP technology.

It does not require any special HDMI cable. The video source must be able to handle 4K resolution. Please see the user's guide for this tool here: https://www.ti.com/tool/DLPDLCR471TPEVM#tech-docs
There are no example python scripts at the moment, however, you can make your own using the DLP EVM GUI 3.1.05. You must select the DLPDLCR471TPEVM product in the GUI before using it with that EVM. Here is the user's guide for that GUI: https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/dlpu112/dlpu112.pdf
The DLPDLCR471TPEVM is for display applications and does not support this feature. Please see other DLP Pico light control products for a better suited candidate.
