DLPC900: DLPC900 EDID

Hi

   When I use FPGA as host to transmit video data to dlpc900, is EDID EEPROM necessary? Can I remove this part?

    Hello User,

    If you are sending 24-bit or 30-bit RGB data directly to the RGB input of the FPGA for DLPC900 Dual Controller systems or directly to the RGB input of the DLPC900 Single Controller system.  Then you do not need any EDID EEPROMs since your FPGA has to have the RGB data correctly formatted for the DMD that you have the DLPC900 attached to.
