  • Mark,

Is the customer able to share the "Pattern Design" from the Pattern Mode page?

Specifically which bit/bits are they using?  The easiest way is for them to do this is to use the "Save" button in that window to save the Pattern Design and provide the saved file.

Also ask if they see this only with the camera or with the naked eye also?  Do they have the camera and EVM synchronized via some kind of trigger?

  • Mark,

We have been able to reproduce this in the lab and have added it to the fixes in our next planned FW update for the DLPC900 systems.  We do not have a date set for when this will be released.

Thank the customer for finding the issue and reporting it.

  • Hi Mark,

We need the information requested to provide help on this issue. Please share the GUI Pattern Mode screen capture to understand the issue better.

I have noticed, when there is no "Frame Change" input enabled for the first pattern, flicker is observed on left portion of displayed image.

"Sequencer Abort Status Flag Error" flag is also set continuously.

Video pattern mode needs "Frame Change" enabled for first pattern. Since the internal frame memory gets updated with new data for every frame, internal Sequencer hardware needs to wait for the "Frame Change" input trigger before it can start reading the memory contents and display the pattern sequence.

After enabling "Frame Change" input for the first pattern, video patterns show properly on the screen and display is also proper without any image artifacts.
There is no error reported by the sequencer as well.

Please check with customer if they have enabled "Frame Change" trigger for the first pattern or not.

Does the "Sequencer Abort Status Flag Error" flag is also set continuously?

    Thanks,
    Shivakumar
