Hello Team,

I have a similar part marking concern for part#DLP2010AFQJ, 

Customer tried to apply 2 different encoded device part number items on their product, the one showing 342B is working but the other one showing 242B is not working.

 Therefore, they want to know whether this is caused by different encoded device part number? Or it’s just a quality issue for the 242B one.

    Welcome to DLP forum and thank you for your interest in DLP technology.

    Could you please request customer for the following details:

    1. System configuration - DMD, controller and PMIC iC

    2. The firmware version number , who supplies the firmware

    3. Details about failure or issue - Is system booting ? no image display  etv

    Hello Vraj,

    These are two different DMDs :

     1. first device (... 342B) - DLP2010LCFQJ; This DMD will work with DLPC3470 controller for light control application.

    2. second device (... 242b) - DLP2010AFQJ ; This DMD will work with DLPC3430/DLPC3435 controller for display application.

    They can not be used interchangeability.
