Linear dmd

Hi,

I'd like to create a linear DMD application, where there is a few pixel in the one dimension and many pixel (thousands) in the other dimension. However I'd like to update these pixels very fast. (NIR wavelength range)

Do you have a product desiged specially for that?

Maybe to achieve this by using one of the high-res DMD-s and updating repetatively only a single block in the array. Could you hint me literature about driving details to see if it is feasible?

Hello KG,

We do offer the DLPLCR65NEVM combined with the DLPLCRC410EVM.

This EVM is very flexible and will allow operation of just a few rows or a block. To get very high speeds will require programming the APPS_FPGA with your own custom design.

What kind of speeds are you looking to achieve?

I'd like to ideally reach 1 us. I've seen the device's mechanical limit is slightly above that. Do you happen to have devices nearing this spec?

Meanwhile I found that you are active in lidar technology too. Do you produce optical phased arrays (mems based beam steering) for this purpose?

Hi Gergely,

Currently, the devices on ti.com are in the similar range of "mechanical limit" or crossover time of a few usec.

Do you have more specific projects in mind for the mems based bean steering?
