DLPLCR65NEVM: or similar development module with gold coating?

Is there any possibility of getting a development DMD that is gold coated? to work in the mid and far IR?  Could one of these development modules be modified to have a gold coating?

    Hello John,

    At this time we do not have plans to make gold coated mirrors.  Also be aware that even using "super-pixels" the pixel size makes the diffraction in the far IR challenging.

    It sounds like you are interested in mid and far IR spectroscopy.  Does the aluminum coating present a challenge?

    I was hoping to do some laser patterning with a CO2 laser. That was the immediate application.

    At this time, the DLP650LNIR DMD is our highest power NIR DMD. This might be a learning device for your application. Please check out the datasheet and performance specifications.

    New product offerings are always being reviewed on a regular basis. If there are typical specs for your application, we would be open to reviewing those.
