DLPDLCR2000EVM: Display patterns generated in python

I'm trying to use python to produce patterns that can then be projected by the script. My plan is to produce the patterns as array and then imshow with pyplot.

I have looked through the documentation but I'm not sure how to tell python to use the projector as the output for the imshow. Is there some documentaion I'm missing that sets out the python commands for the DLP?

Welcome to the E2E forum and thank you for your interested in DLP technology!

For your use case, do you use with a host processor, eg. BeagleBone Black, or do you use without host processor?

I am using a beaglebone.

I think I resolved my issue. I am using i2cset as a system function un python to freeze and unfreeze the display after writing the values of the array to the frame buffer. This seems to work fine.
