DLPR410: DMD loading images

We ordered the DMD 9500 and DLPR410 evaluation board from TI several months ago. and we installed the GUI "discovery 4100 explorer" to control the DMD, but this application can only support for the single image loading, what if we want to project a series of images (or broadcast a movie)? We wonder that is there any other software we can use ? Thank you!

Hello Ben,

The USB interface and GUI is primarily intended to verify that the DMD is operating, but is not designed to display images in real time. A number of our design partners provide systems that can store and display multiple patterns. They can be found on this page: https://www.ti.com/design-resources/embedded-development/dlp-chip/3d-scan-machine-vision.html#Development under Design Services.

Alternatively, the Virtex 5 LX50 FPGA can be programmed with a memory controller to store and display images from a SODIMM memory attached to the memory slot on the board. Basically this is what some of the third party developers have done in their proprietary systems.
