DLPA2005: Understanding DLPA2005 datasheet : it does not lit RGB simultaneously

Part Number: DLPA2005

Hi,

I'm looking at the DLPA2005 datasheet.

According to the RGB Strobe Decoder section(P14, P15), it seems only one LED is lit at a time.

In other words, it is designed to lit only one led OR it does not permit to lit the R,G,B leds simultaneously, does it?

I'm asking to verify if my understanding is correct.

Thanks.

  • Hello User,

Welcome to the E2E forum and thank you for your interest in DLP® technology!

Your understanding is correct. The RGB strobe decoder illuminates a single LED at a time. This behavior is built into our system in both the embedded software as well as the mechanical designs (such as circuitry and thermal specifications).

    Thank you for your business!

    Kind regards,

    Austin
