Hi Hiren,
Welcome to DLP&MEMS forum.
Displaying of color image depends on how the LightCommander(TM) is configured. If the LightCommander(TM) is configured into "video mode" it can display color images from the external source input (source format RGB888 source @ 60Hz).
Let me know if i answered your question.

Sanjeev
Hi sanjeev,
Thnx for the reply.
If the light commander is configured in the "video mode" is it possible to generate RGB pattern the same way as BInary and gray scale pattern through software? If possible, then what will be the refresh rate?
Also, can u specify the purpose of red ,blue , green led in the illumination optics?
Regards,
Hiren
Hi Hiren,
Please clarify whether you wanted to download and display color patterns like as it is done for binary or gray scale patterns.
The LEDs in the system are basically used shine the light on the DMD which gets reflected and projected via optical module. The kit has flexibility to individually select the LEDs and along with their strength setting.

Sanjeev

Hello, I have encountered the problem of where the red LED is not functioning at all.
the green and the blue LED are working fine, so whenever I choose a colour that is composed of 3 LED, I get a colour with red.
And also, I can see that there is no red LED visible through the fanning holes on the projector.
I believe that this is due to adjusting the light intensity above 60%, as described in E0031.
What sort of solution is there to get the red LED back to work?
Thank you in advance,
Yuma
