Labview drivers? Using LightCommander as a secondary monitor screen via HDMI input?

We will be receiving our lightcommander soon. I searched for Labview drivers and the forum replies suggest that dedicated drivers that transfer images to DMD are not available.I would like to confirm the availability of labview drivers.

As an alternative, Can I setup lightcommander as a secondary monitor on a graphics card with two outputs? If so, I think I can use Labview to display patterns on the second monitor (DMD).

Thanks

Shalin

  • Hi Shalin,

I am working with a USB to HDMI converter. The LightCommander is now my third screen.

  • Hi Shalin,

Unfortunately LabView driver/tools NOT available for the LightCommander.

On the secondary monitor question, yes, you should be able to use LightCommander(TM) as secondary monitor. Note that the input resolution of  the system is native 1024*768 pixels. It doesn't do any scaling. The input digital data format is RGB888. Further, the system allows you to configure the video frame rate b/w 6Hz  to 60Hz.
