DLPA3005: Actual devices do not appear as shown in your web site photos

Part Number: DLPA3005

Simple sanity check question:

Can you confirm that the actual DLPA3005 chips do not look like the images on your website?

The photos on the DLPA3005 product page clearly show that the top of the chip has the usual markings and a pin1 dimple, with a large thermal pad centered on the bottom of the chip, but all of the parts we have purchased, have the thermal pad on the top and pin1 marked by printing rather than a dimple. It's a little hard to mistake this, given the bend of the pins.

Is this just a case of a web page designer being a bit too casual with stock images, or is there an actual technical problem here?

Was there a change that corresponded to some revision, or perhaps a part# suffix issue, or are there perhaps a lot of counterfeit chips on the market?

Am I missing something?
