Hi Experts,

We would like to ask your assistance on this query:

Is the SDK (Structured Light Application) from DLPLCR4500 compatible to use with DLPDLCR3010? A customer would like to change to this cheaper one.

Also, is there any EOL for the DLPDLCR3010?

    Hello Archie,

    No, the SDK for the DLPLCR4500 is not compatible with the DLPDLCR3010. An alternative is the DLP3010EVM-LC, which is available at a lower price point. However, the DLP3010EVM-LC does not have an SDK, only an API.

    There is no EOL for the DLPDLCR3010-G2.

    1. Are there other DLP projector EVMs, which come with a working structured light SDK?
    2. If I look at the example code of the DLPD3010, it has to be controlled via USB to SPI / I2C -> Is that correct?
    3. Is the code for the DLP-GUIs available?
    4. Where do I find a good overview over all the DLP projector EVMs?

    Hello Archie,

    1. There are no other EVMs other than the DLPLCR4500 that have a structured light SDK.

    2. Yes, the EVM is controlled via USB to SPI/I2C.

    3. No, the GUI code is not available.

    4. This page has a list of our EVMs for 3D scan and machine vision products. Other DLP projector EVMs can be found on the left-hand sidebar of that page.
