DLPC2607: Datasheet Clarification

Part Number: DLPC2607

Hello Team,

Posting on behalf of my customer:

I have a question about the DLPC2607 datasheet, table 6.8, which outlines the timing requirements for the parallel RGB interface. Many of the cycles are given in a unit of "lines", do you know what this means?

We can look at the first line, VSYNC_WE has a pulse duration of 1 line. I know it should cycle low at the end of a horizontal line, but for how long?

And what does the "50% reference points" mean?

Regards,

Renan

  • Hello Renan,

    Welcome back to the forum.

One "line" is the period between rising edge and rising edge of the Hsyncs. This is better seen in Figure 6-7 of the DLPC3430 datasheet.

The actual length of a line with change based on your video timings.

The 50% reference point note is to point that this should be measured at 50% of the rising edges so that the measurements are consistent.

    Regards,

    Austin
