DLPNIRNANOEVM: Planck radiation (black body) of sources

Part Number: DLPNIRNANOEVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPC150

Hi Team, seeking for inputs.

We would like to measure the Planck radiation (black body) of sources between 1500 and 4000 Kelvin. Therefore, we direct a telescope onto the source, direct the gathered light into a fiber and would like to use your spectrometer DLPNIRNANOEVM to record the spectrum.
To this end, we need to image the light onto the entrance slit. Is this possible?

- Does the DLPNIRNANOEVM feature an API? IS it e.g. IVI compliant?
- Do you offer drivers for linux? (e.g. shared object libraries?)
Thank you.

  • Hi Mark,

There aren't any linux drivers or api features supproted for NIR Scan Nano EVM(DLPC150).

Since the communication to EVM is via Tiva microcontroller with USB or UART interface. You can develop scripts to frame the data and communicate with the interface of your interest. Since the software for Tiva controller and the GUI are already exposed. You can also refer to them for you development.

Please refer to the section G, H and I of the user's guide
