Hi,
May I know how to trigger projector DLP3010EVM-LC using other controller for example lighting controller? If can share wiring to trigger the projector DLP3010EVM-LC much better. Thanks

Hello User,
Welcome to the E2E forum and thank you for your interest in DLP® technology.
Details for using a external trigger to drive internal pattern mode on the DLPC3478 can be found in section 7.3.2.2 of the DLPC3478 Datasheet and sections 3.4 through 3.4.13 of the DLPC78 Software Programmer's Guide.
We do not have a wiring diagram available, but this should be as simple as routing the driving signal to the TRIG_IN (3DR) pin.
Kind regards,
Austin
Our lighting controller got positive(+) and GND(-) polarity. If positive connect to TRIG_IN and how about GND connection?
GND can be connected to the ground pin on J5 or any other ground on the board. Please note that the trigger signal voltage should match the reference voltage being set on pin J11. This is described in the EVM User's Guide.

Austin
Lighting controller that I use are supply voltage 12V-24V. We are add optocoupler between lighting controller and projector DLP3010EVM-LC to prevent projector are broken when there are high voltage supply. So I have question, where I can get 3.3V to connect with my optocoupler to make a complete circuit?.
Below area example of my connection. Thanks

Hello User,
For my understanding, the wire connected to the Pin 5 on the DLP3010EVM-LC is the Trigger in signal. Then, for the 3.3V to the optocoupler, are you able to use a power supply to supply 3.3V?
Here is the DLP3010EVM-LC reference design you may want to refer to.
