DLP2021LEQ1EVM: We can't change what's playing

When I was using DLP2021LEEVM, I suddenly found that I could not control it to change the video display content, and it had been stopped on a picture. I can change the PWM to control the color change of the image, and I can stop the image from playing. But no matter what I do, it's stuck in this content, and I can't change the content. What is the reason for this?

Hi Cherry,

Could you please confirm if you still able to communicate with the EVM?

Also When you do power off and on does the issue -still exists?

I was able to communicate with the EVM, I could stop the video playback through the DLP controlprogram, and I could also change the RGBPWM. This problem persists after repeated power-on, but the display content cannot be switched.

When I tried to get it to work in local host control mode, it flashed and stopped immediately.

Do you lose communication with the controller once the image locks up?

After the image locked, I did not lose communication with the controller. I can control the image to stop showing, but I can't change the content of the image.

Hi Cherry,

Are you using a custom .img file to build and flash the EVM? If yes, I would recommend you try reflashing the original .bin included with the DLP2021 Composer project. When you programming, use a SPI clock of 5 MHz when using the FTDI-to-SPI cable.

It could be that the flash memory content is corrupted or programmed incorrectly if you can communicate with the EVM, but the video content is not changing.
