DLPC3479: DLPC3479 + DLP4710LC : How to project only one specified Pattern Set while there are serveral Pattern Sets pre-stored in the Flash

Part Number: DLPC3479

Dear TI's friends

I am a sortware engineer coming from Wintech Inc

Hardware = Lightcontrol4710

Operate mode = internal pattern stream

Could you give some advice about how to project only one specified pattern set while there are several pre-stored others in the SPI flash

and each pattern set includes a different number of vertical or horizontal patterns

For example, a vertical pattern set include the maximum 8 pictures, and next horizontal Pattern set consists of 7 pictures

Now, I am going to start projecting the vertical pattern set or horizontal pattern set, rather than both pattern sets to play one by one

I presume that DLPC3479 project all the pre-stored pattern sets according to the specified timings after recieving the "Start Command"

My Operatint Process:

Create a vertical pattern set

Create a horizontal pattern set

Configure Pattern Order Table Entry and program/load pattern set

Send "Run Continuously" command to start projecting

Now , both pattern sets are displaying one by one

Then, I reboot device and change to the advanced operation GUI

First of all, reload pattern sets from the external flash, we can not specify the pattern set so that all the pattern sets will be reload to DLPC3749 internal RAM

Second: send "Start" command, but both pattern set pictures are displayed

So I ask to you share me some information to display specified pattern set only

Thank you for any help

Yours sincerely

Eric

  • Hello Eric,

The EVM/FW are designed to run all pattern sets if set to continuously run. There is no way to pick pattern set 1 before pattern set 0 if you wanted to change the display order. You can't pick out a single pattern set to display if there are multiple saved to memory.
