DLPDLCR3310EVM: It suddenly crashed when I was in the middle of using it

Part Number: DLPDLCR3310EVM

When I was using the DLPDLCR3310EVM today, the screen of the computer can be displayed normally when I just turned it on (connected with an HDMI cable), but it suddenly fails to display the screen after about 1-2 minutes, and it can be displayed normally after I turn it on again, but it is also about 1 -After 2 minutes, the screen cannot be displayed suddenly, how can I troubleshoot the problem?

  • What I have changed now is to change the LED to an external power supply. I gave him a resistor in the middle of the original circuit. If the frame is disassembled and fixed with its own fixture, the above-mentioned problem is encountered.

  • Hello User,

Welcome to the E2E forums and thank you for your interest in DLP® technology.

    1. Has there been any modifications to the hardware or software of the system?
    2. Are any errors reported on the Status page of the Advanced GUI menu?
    3. Does this issue arise only when external video is connected?
    4. Does the issue persist if only internal test pattern mode is used?
    5. Are you using the recommended power supply settings and do you see these LEDs turn on when power is applied and when the issue arises and the display is turned off, do these LEDs turn off?
    6. Can you also check this LED on the board to see if it changes.

You can find information on the LEDs in the user guide located here on page 10 and 11.
