Hello there, I have a quick question about the timing of when the lenses on DLP glasses switch from one lens to the other.
Is it possible to delay the times of when a lens can be opened after the other lens closes? Specifically, I would like to know if both lenses can be closed at the same time for a duration of time. I am not good at reading the way hardware chips work, but it seems as if there is a single switch which will signal the closing of one lens and the opening of another.
It is understandable if this is the way they work since there shouldn't be any light decay on a projector screen (unlike pixels an illuminated display). My use case requires that I test the ability of having both lenses shut at the same time during the transition from one to the other.
If there is a way to program this into the chip directly that would be awesome to know. Otherwise, my guess would be that the delay would need to happen outside the DLP chip, with separate hardware handling the delay directly on the pins that attach to the lenses.
Thank you,
Peter
