Hi,
Should the FPGA controlling the DLPC only use TI dedicated FPGAs?
It is difficult to obtain TI dedicated FPGAs.
So, we are going to use the same 5AGXBA3D4F31C5G product.
Are there any problems downloading the FPGA file(.rpd) or operating it?

    Hello Ji-Woo Park,

    The FPGA and DLP controller (ASIC) are independent of each other but the ASIC is utilized as the controller. The FPGA is dedicated to splitting incoming data.

    There should be no issues with downloading the FPGA file (.rpd) onto a 5AGXBA3D4F31C5G FPGA. Please keep it mind that this FPGA is limited to support only the DLP660TE DMD. We would highly recommend you utilize 5AGXBA5D4F31C5G as this provides full support for DLP470TE, DLP780TE as well as DLP660TE. This will be the FPGA utilized on the evaluation board for DLPC4420, soon to be an orderable part.
