LightCommander LED Control

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPC200

Hi,

・I removed a DMD board from LightCommander.

・The board was returned, and it was operated again.

  However, LED did not light.

・Check the connection of the DMD board was found that floating a little bit from the socket

・LED lit when the board was correctly inserted into the socket.

I would like to ask a question.

1.  Is it a normal control of DLPC200 that LED doesn't light for the communication trouble to DMD (loose connection)?

2.  Is there a reason why some LED is not lit?

Regards,

Seishin

  • Hi Seishin,

Response to your question below -

    1.  Is it a normal control of DLPC200 that LED doesn't light for the communication trouble to DMD (loose connection)?

Yes, LEDs will not turned ON there a problem encountered with DMD board. Basically during power ON  DLPC200 interacts with DMD; if any failures detected LEDs will not be turned ON.

    2.  Is there a reason why some LED is not lit?

I don't understand your question. LED is not turned ON could be due to any of the following reasons -

    a. Connection cable b/w LightCommander Controller board to LED Driver is bad or  missing or there is a loose contact.

    b. DMD board not connected or hardware issues in the DMD board causing DLPC200 to not detect.

    c. Hardware issues within the LED driver or connection cable gone bad between LED driver to LED or LED itself is faulty.
