Hello everyone,
I'm reaching out because we're having a tough time connecting our recently purchased 4bit phase modulator DLP6750Q1EVM to a Windows PC. We've been following the "EVM Instructions - Connecting to Computer and applying power" page in the instructions, but we're still running into several problems within the LightCrafter software.
Here's what's happening:
- The System Controls show as connected but it's stuck on "standby." Every time we try to reset it to normal, it just goes back to "standby” after a few seconds.
- The status isn't showing any "signed boxes." We were expecting to see "internal memory test," "slave present," "internal init," "sequence running," and "video running."
- The display is recognized in Windows settings using "hdmi," but the "Locked to External Source" option isn't getting checked after we go through the procedure.
- We had some problems connecting with DisplayPort. It shows for HDMI-cable, but it didn’t show with the DisplayPort.
We're really hoping someone can shed some light on our issues. We're happy to provide additional information or even set up a live session with the tech support team if that helps.
Just to add, our manager, who has been using two more of these devices for over a year, also had some initial setup issues back then. And it's not just us - our collaborators from another university have recently reported the exact same connection problems with their DLP6750Q1EVM device.
