Hello,

We have a very broad band light source, 2-20 microns, and would like to consider using a DLP as a reflective diffraction grating to produce optical output with high spectral resolution. Can you please provide a reference to an application note that would describe such an implementation?

A related question - How fast can I spoil the diffraction grating to produce a pulsed light source? We'd like to modulate the light source using this technique at > 2 MHz.

Hi Patrick,

The spectrum of your interest falls in Mid IR region.

We do have DMDs having specialized coating for NIR 0.7-2.5 microns(700nm - 2500nm) spectrum.

My interest is in the mid to far infrared range 2-20 microns not mid IR only. Do you have DMDs in that range?
