DLPDLCR3010EVM-G2: Defective projectors

Can you confirm the following:

• Are you using the correct power supply for each?
• Do there seem to be any missing connections on the boards?
• Are you able to still communicate the with them via the GUI?
• What LEDs do you see on/off after switching proj_on?

- Yes, the power supply is correct. The same power supply works for the other DLPDLCR3010EVM-G2 in the lab. 

- Connections are good.

- GUI detect the 2 projectors when connected. However, no light output from the 2 projectors.

- The attached photos are OFF/ON of the 2 defective projectors. They show different LED patterns in their ON states, but both of them similarly do not output light.

Which controller should I select from the link?

I got this error when I tried to upload the firmware image:

Error: Firmware selected is meat for a different EVM.

I got this error for both projectors when I tried to upload the firmware.

Hi Ryoma,

This is interesting. Could you try flashing using our LC GUI? It has more relaxed flash restrictions and can sometimes work better. Here is the link to download (link).

I could finish uploading the firmware using the LC GUI. However, the 2 projectors still do not output light. I also noticed that the GUI indicates at the bottom left that the EVM is "Powered Off" even when I switch the projectors ON. 

Should I reference this forum thread somewhere on the return request? We ordered through TI.com, but this order was made by a procurement team at my institution. They used a different TI account (adrian.orozco[at]ufl.edu) for this purchase.

Is it ok to submit the return request using my own TI account (rhattori@ufl.edu) as long as I reference the correct order number?

Ok. Another question. I need to fill out "DTC/LTC" on the return form, but I cannot find DTC/LTC on my DLP3010EVM-G2. Do you know where I can find the numbers on DLP3010EVM-G2?
