Am I also correct in assuming this is a custom board design for the DLP6500FLQ? I see the image on your GUI uses a mustang flex cable instead of the HPC FMC cable we use on our DLP6500FLQEVM.

It looks like you have edited the source code provided with our GUI to create DLP VisionFly 0.65 1080p 2.0.0? Have you attempted to use our latest GUI and firmware for the DLPC900 on this? Here is a link to the reference software. Please let me know if this latest version recognizes your DMD.

Let me check with our firmware expert if the DLPC900 firmware will recognize the DLP6500FLQ as well.

P.S. If you did modify our GUI, what version of our GUI did you modify? That may help us if we are unable to find a solution sooner.

Not using the latest firmware and GUI. Below is a diagram of the controller and DMD used.

I'm sorry, but Texas Instruments cannot support you with this, as you are using both custom hardware and software. This is not a TI DLP(R) product. You will have  to contact the party that developed the VisionFly GUI you are using and the person or party who designed the DDP4422 board you are using.

The DMD you are showing is a DLP6500NEFYE, and not a DLP6500FLQ. This is a display part that is supported by a display controller such as DDP4422 or DDP4422-HV.

The DLPC900 does not support this DMD shown. The display controllers (such as the DDP4422) do not run DLPC900 firmware, thus they will not work with the DLPC900 GUI.

On top of  that, the DDP4422 controller does not support Advanced Light Control (ALC) functions that the DLPC900 offers. This means you are not able to use triggers, control exposure time, etc... If you wish to have those functions with the DLPC900, you would need to purchase a compatible chipset.
