DLPLCRC900EVM: Raspberry pi and video pattern mode

Part Number: DLPLCRC900EVM

Hello. I have two DLPLCRC900EVM with a dlplc65evm. I want to control both DMDs in video mode or prefereable video pattern mode using a raspberry pi. As i understand, the GUI is not compatible with linux, and in any case it can only control a single dlplcrc900evm. Is there any way to set both dmds in video mode or video pattern mode without the gui?

  • Hello Alejandro,

You can set the individual devices with a default batch file to start in Video Mode with the input type configured.  Once stored in the flash, it will automatically start up with no GUI or user intervention.

At this time it is not possible to automatically move to Video Pattern Mode.  The system must be locked to a video signal first, and the FW at this time does not have the ability to wait for a sync automatically.

However, you should be able to send I2C commands on two different I2C channels on the Pi.

If you need further details I can arrange a brief call
