I have designed a circuit board based on the schematic diagram in the following document, but currently I am unable to flash the boot program and application program:
DLPDLCR471TPEVM Formatter Board Electrical Design Files
I tested the power supply of the DLP6540 chip, and when SW-PROJ_ON is set high, it can correctly provide voltage of 1.15V, 1.8V, 1.21V, and 3.3V for DLP6540 according to the power supply timing.
I also tried to test the crystal oscillator pins of DLP6540, and when SW-PROJ_ON was set high, the crystal oscillator started up correctly.
However, when I referred to the following document and set the GPIO_64 (HOLDeBOOTZ) pin to 0 and attempted to use USB for FLASH programming, I found that USB could not bootstrap properly and established a connection with the computer.
DLPC6540 Programmer's Guide (Rev. A)
Excuse me, is there any omission in my operating steps. Or is there an error in my operation。
What are the basic conditions for the DLPC6540 chip to work properly, and how should I check if the status of this chip is normal.
Please help me.
Hello user,
Welcome to the E2E forum and thank you for your interest in DLP® technology.
Have you ever successfully flash the firmware on your custom board?

Lori
Hi User,
Please ensure there are no POSENSE faults indicating that power to controller is not proper.
If POSENSE is proper and still no USB connection then I request you to check the UART Logs form UART0 lines for more information.
Also if the controller on the board is never loaded with any firmware, you need to use JTAG to program the controller since there is no bootloder loaded to work with USB

Akhil
