DLP3010LC: DLP products forum

Part Number: DLP3010LC
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPA2005, DLPC3478

Tool/software:

hello.

Although the configuration is different, I am experiencing the same problem as in the link.
(The article mentioned in that link was written by me a year ago.)

H/W: DLPC3478+DLPA2005
FW Version : FWSel_DLPC3478_DLPA2005_pm1_i2c0x36_v9p2p0
GUI Version: 3.2.0.6

I also need to drive DLP in a limited current (5V, 3~4A) environment.
The system becomes unstable depending on the peak value of the incoming current, so a transient current limiting function is necessary.

1. Is there separate firmware for setting transient current limit as shown in the link below?

2. Does that link solve the problem?

3. I would like to access the DLPA2005 register and set transient current limit.

4. The DLPA2005 Device ID can be read using 0xED (Read pad register) in the DLP GUI, but there is no relevant information in the manual. Please share how to access DLPA2005 registers through DLPC3478.
