Hello Ryoma,
Are you referring to the DLP3010EVM-G2 that you ordered? Only one of them is not booting up properly?
Please verify the following:\
Best,
Maximus
Hi Maximus,
Yes, DLP3010EVM-G2 that I ordered this month. Only one of them has this issue.
• When connected to the EVM GUI, in the top right corner does it say EVM Status as ready? If so what input does it say?
EVM Status: Connected, Incompatible EVM; Test Pattern Generator
• What LEDs do you see on light up on your EVM after flipping the on switch?
D4
• Are you able to communicate with the EVM via the GUI? If so what version firmware is it running?
Yes, EVM Software: 6.9.0, EVM Firmware: 7.3.3
Hi Ryoma,
Are you able to read/write commands via the GUI? Can you do a "get" on the information tab and read the DLPC part number?
Best,
Maximus
Hello Ryoma,
Can you please try to re-flash the EVM with latest firmware version 7.4.3 which is available on DLP Firmware Selector tool?
Also, please read back RGB LED enable register (53h) and check the physical LED connections on the EVM.
Regards,
Lori
Hello Ryoma,
For clarify, can you see the splash screen displayed when just powered up the EVM? The Light Control page in your screen shot is used for Light Control EVM DLP3010EVM-LC not for DLPDLCR3010EVM-G2.
Are you able to use the DLP LightCrafter Display GUI to re-program the EVM and get I2C communications? Do you see any physical damage of the EVM?
Regards,
Lori
We do not see splash screen displayed when just powered up the EMV. We have installed the DLP Lightcrafter GUI for DLPDLCR3010EVM-G2 now. When we are trying to splash screen from Patterns and Images option, we see the LEDs D6 to D8 blink on the EVM but there is no display from the EVM. There is no apparent physical damage on the EMV, but when it was started for the first time, we could smell smoke coming out of it.
Hello Ryoma,
Please make sure you use the required power supply (Nominal output voltage 19VDC; Minimum output current: 2.5A; Max output current: 4.74A). If you were using the right power supply when you first received the EVM and smell smoke, then I suspect that the EVM got damaged.
Please request for RMA since the EVM is still under warranty. This thread can be used as proof of RMA authorization.
Regards,
Lori
We used a power supply of 19VDC, 4.74A. Is this power supply compatible? It works for the other 2 projectors that we received. www.amazon.com/.../B07R4Y7HTQ
Hi Ryoma,
Yes, it meets the specification. Please request for RMA.

Lori
