DLPC3478: How do I configure GPIOs of DLPC3478

Part Number: DLPC3478
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPA2005,

Tool/software:

Hello,
In description of GPIO Peripheral Interface in DLPC3478 datasheet , GPIO pins must be configured through software for input, output, bidirectional, or open-drain operation. What software is used for configuration? With firmware, how do you do that? GPIO pin control is not seen in I2C interface control. Does the firmware (DLPC3478+DLPA2005) have a default configuration for these GPIOs? What is the default configuration for these
GPIOs?

  • Hello Paul,

I have assigned an individual that is familiar with this platform.  They should be able to help you with your question.

  • Hello Paul,

The firmware is responsible for configuring the GPIO pins in accordance with the reference design. Please ensure that you refer to TI schematic as reference for your design. Additionally, please note that the GPIO pins cannot be controlled through the EVM GUI.
