DLPC8445: What is the protocol to trigger a DLP-Link 3D glasses? We're researching the possibility to display 3D media on a modern monitor using a custom 3D media player with a DLP-Link 3D glasses.

As titled. I'm tasked to work on a project that can display 3D media on a modern high refresh rate monitor. The monitor has a 120hz+ refresh rate. We want to develop a custom 3D media player that can generate frames or signals that DLP-Link powered 3D glasses can receive. The end goal is to use our custom-built media player to play 3D images or videos on a high refresh rate monitor and be able to watch 3D using DLP-Link powered 3D.

I noticed that the protocol is under NDA. Who should I talk to to gain access to the information?

Hi Leon,

Are you are you looking to use the DLPC8445 to build this monitor and looking for how to use the 3D video features of the DLPC chip and DLP-Link glasses? Or are you trying to build a software that can run on a monitor and display DLP-Link 3D capable content?
