DLPLCRC410EVM: Power source and checking power on DLPLCRC410EVM

Part Number: DLPLCRC410EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPC410

Tool/software:

Where can we obtain the correct power source for this product?

Also, is there a way to confirm that the board is powered properly if it is not recognized by a computer.

  • Dear Sr Tweezer,

First, do you already have a power supply and what are the specs? [5V-6A (5A min)]

Please see the User Guide - https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/dlpu040c/dlpu040c.pdf

When the board is plugged in and the power switch turned on, do the lights near each of the FPGA's turn green [D16 and D17]?

After that LED D10 should start flashing at about 1 Hz.  This indicates that the DLPC410 controller is running.  This would indicate that the board is running and properly powered.

When you plug in a USB cable does it enumerate anything in device manager?
