Hello,

I would like to get a reference temperature for my DLP800RE which is setup with the DLPC4430EVM. I understand there is a readback DMD temperature register under Projector Control > DMD tab of the DLPC44XX GUI which is from a previous post on the form. My question is how to get a temperature from this. When I click the Sample button a value of 1 is displayed below it. How do I read the temperature?

Hello Christian,

I need to investigate more about the details since I also have seen the current temperature read back as 1 on the EVM.

Are you using the EVM from TI.com or a custom board?

Hello Christian,

Unfortunately, the DMD temperature reading currently is not supported by the default firmware.

We will make a note of this feature so we can consider adding in the next update.
