We purchased another set of the eval. system DLPLCRC900DEVM, , and tried to update the firmware as we did before , but got the problem. Id says "Unable to read flash device IDs, error 0x015.

Hello JD,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

It looks like the FW currently present is for the DLP670S DMD. Please confirm if you have followed the instructions from the Section 4.10 of the DLPC900 Dual EVM User Manual to Reprogram Controller Board for a Different Supported DMD.

The firmware we were loading if for DLP9000. I used the same firmware file to program the same kind of the board before.

I believe the firmware comes with the board is DLP670S. This the reason we need to change to DLP9000

Hello JD,

To re-program the flash for a different DMD, you must install the boothold jumper. Please refer to the guidelines in Section 4.10.
