Hello,

We are developing a dental 3D scanner with DLP3010-LC and two camera system.

I believe the EVM has two output trigger and one input triggers and Pattern ready trigger. How each of these triggers are working on Internal pattern streaming mode?

Could you provide guidance on how to configure the trigger system for a dual-camera scanner?

Thanks for coming to E2E!

The configuration for a dual-camera scanner will be the same as a single-camera scanner except the output triggers - from DLPC3478 controller to camera - will need to go to both cameras. Please note that internal pattern mode with the DLPC3478 / DLPC3010EVM-LC system only supports 1D patterns which is column or row patterns.

The DLPC3478 Datasheet table 7-3 describes the signals, it is also possible for the camera to control the exposure time - see 7.3.2.2.2 Trigger In Mode for this mode. Additional material to look at would be the DLP3010EVM-LC User's Guide as well as the DLP Display and Light Control EVM GUI Tool User's Guide.
