We are planning to design and integrate a dental Intra-oral scanner based on triangulation and structured light methods, utilizing a DLP projector system.

I have reached out to some of the partners listed in the TI's Third-party search tool. However, some have not responded and others no longer support DLP projector design for Intra-oral scanning applications.

Kindly connect us with relevant ecosystem partners who provide software and hardware design services for Intra-oral scanner.

Hi Aaron,

We initially procured the DLP3010-LC evaluation module from TI and conducted a proof-of-concept 3D scanning using structured light and the triangulation method. While the evaluation was successful, we found that the size of both the projector and camera is too large for integration into intra-oral scanners, which require a much smaller form factor.

We are currently looking for support in identifying a compact DLP light engine and compatible camera module, along with their respective SDKs, suitable for intra-oral scanner integration. It would be greatly appreciated if you could suggest any manufacturers or suppliers who specialize in components designed specifically for such dental applications.
