Hi,

Can the DDC4000 controller work with the DLP5500. The DLP5500 has two 8 bit LVDS DDR data buses while the DDC4000 when used to drive the 0.55 DMD uses two 16 bit LVDS DDR data buses. I would like to develop a system that can use the slower DLP5500 or the more specialised and faster 0.55 and 0.7 DMDs

    Thank you for your post.

    I regret to inform you that the DDC4000 is not able to recognize the DLP5500 chip.  I understand the desire to make a flexible system that can do either, but at this time it is not possible with the DDC4x00 (4000 or 4100) architecture.
